Software should belong
to the people who use it.
ThinkCore is an independent, nonprofit open-source technology organization. We turn useful ideas into practical software that people can inspect, self-host, modify, and contribute to.
Build the tools we wish existed.
Open the tools that should belong to everyone.
Too many useful tools sit behind expensive subscriptions, closed ecosystems, or barriers that keep people out. We believe there’s another way: build thoughtful alternatives, share the source, and give people control.
We’re a small open-source lab, not a SaaS company. Our work is grounded in engineering, experimentation, and the belief that useful software is worth maintaining for the long term.
Open is more than a license.
It means being able to understand how a tool works. Being free to run it on your own infrastructure. Changing what doesn’t fit. Sharing an improvement so the next person starts a little further ahead.
That’s the kind of software we want to put into the world.
Good tools are built together.
Code, ideas, documentation. There’s more than one way to contribute.
